Biden sending federal assist to western New York after large storm

President Biden on Monday accredited an emergency declaration for New York and ordered federal help to assist reply to the extreme winter storm within the western a part of the state.

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) thanked Biden for approving the emergency declaration and for working with the state.

We’ll preserve working across the clock to assist communities rebuild & get well,” she said in a press release.

The large storm dumped greater than six ft of snow in some areas and set a document for essentially the most snowfall in a 24-hour interval in New York.
